Think Warehouse Magna Exteriors and Interiors Magna are one of the biggest independent automotive assembly organisations in the world. They produce sub-assemblies for a number of the top automotive companies including BMW, Honda, Toyota, Land Rover and many more. Think Warehouse was introduced to their BMW Mini cockpit sub assembly plant to manage their warehouse which feeds parts fetched from all around Europe to the production line. Within weeks of going live with the system Magna were able to reduce staffing levels giving them a £70k saving each year. In addition to these immediate savings, due to significantly improved stock accuracy and a drop in stock losses, stock take frequency was reduced from quarterly to annual, producing further savings of £65k per annum. A year down the line and Magna have been able to bring back in-house a 5000 pallet outsourced warehouse without staff increases, giving an extra saving of £25K per week. Initially taking Think Warehouse into their 5000 pallet International Distribution Centre in Redditch they have now rolled out the system across all warehouses within the group.
